White Mountain Half Marathon
Race Day Information
Vehicles are prohibited at the starting line. Runners MUST take the buses from the Parking Area which is at the finish line located at the Eagar Recreation Center--see Travel instructions. Fully staffed Aid stations will be approximately every three miles with sports drinks and water. No strollers, dogs or bicycles permitted. The Race starts at 7:30 a.m. Buses leave starting at 6:30 a.m. with the last bus leaving at 7:00 a.m. The Course closes at 11:00 a.m.
The Course begins in the little village of Nutrioso and proceeds north on Highway 180 following the old Coronado Trail and the Nutrioso Creek. Starting Elevation is 7600 feet, and has a gentle downhill slope to mile 8. The "Hill" starts at mile 9 and tops out at mile 10.5, followed by a great downhill run to the finish line.

Parking
Ample parking is available at the Recreation Center where the race ends-see travel instructions. There is no parking at the start of the half marathon. Runners must take the buses to the start line. The White Mountain Half Marathon is not responsible for any items left in vehicles or damage done to any parked vehicles.Buses
Wear warm clothing on the bus and remember your "drop bag." Each runner will be provided with a drop bag, available at the City Park. Write your bib number and last name on the bag and deposit in the Drop Bag Bus. All bags not picked up by 3 p.m. will be picked up by Race Officials and donated to Goodwill.Porta-Johns
There will be Porta-Johns available at the start of the race, and at Nelson Reservoir and at locations along the way.Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony will be at the finish line at 11:00 a.m. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers as well as the top three finishers in age groups. All participants will receive a commemorative medal and t-shirt.Packet Pickup
Packets can be picked up at the City Park THE MORNING of the race. No pre-race pickup is available.
