Travel Information

Eagar and Springerville are right next to each other. Eagar is about 45 miles east of Show Low on U.S. 60.
Driving Directions to Eagar
- From Phoenix
Through Globe: Take U.S. 60 east through Tempe, Mesa, Apache Junction, Superior to Miami/Globe. Turn North on U.S. 60/State Route 77 to Show Low, then take U.S. 60 East to Springerville/Eagar.
Through Payson: Take State Route 87 (Beeline Highway) North to Payson. Turn East (at McDonalds) on State route 260 through Heber to Show Low, then take U.S. 60 East to Springerville/Eagar.
- From Tucson
Take State route 77 to Globe, Turn North on U.S. 60/State Route 77 to Show Low, then take U.S. 60 East to Springerville/Eagar.
- From Flagstaff
Take I 40 East to Holbrook, then South on State route 77 to Show Low, then take U.S. 60 East to Springerville/Eagar.
- Driving instructions to race once in Eagar or Springerville:
(These are small towns. There is only one stop light in Springerville and one in Eagar.)
The buses will load at the Finish Line which is at the Eagar Recreation Center located on Park Place, just north of the Rodeo Grounds, east of Eagar and Southeast of Springerville.
Springerville: Take 60 East from stop light approximately 3/4 mile, then turn South on U.S. 180/666 for approximately 1 mile. The Eagar Recreation Center is on Park Place, North and East of the intersection with 260.
Eagar: Take 260 East from stop light approximately 1.5 miles. The Eagar Recreation Center is on Park Place, North of the intersection U.S. 180/266. (Just North of the Rodeo Grounds).

Note--The City Park is located on Park Place east of "Bill's Body Shop"--a large yellow building with the name painted on the side. There is also a sign directing you to the City of Eagar Recreation Center.
